Martin, a teenage boy from Brazil’s favelas, steps onto the football pitch to pay off a debt owed to a gang. With the help of Farma, a retired national team player who walks with a limp, and his best friend Fer, he blends street football with samba dance moves. In the end, he scores a match-winning goal at the World Cup qualifiers, fulfilling his own dream of making the national team—and Farma’s as well.
